How to Install Custom Skins
On This Part of the tutorial, you are finding your Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Directory. Open up a Finder window, and navigate your mouse to the top of your screen. There, you will click Go > Go to Folder. A window like this should pop up:
Now, you will copy and paste this line onto the window: ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Call of Duty 4/Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.app/Contents/Call of Duty 4 Data/Main
Now you are in your Main folder. This is the folder where all of the skins for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare are kept. Rename the following:
iw_00.iwd to localized_english_aa.iwd
iw_01.iwd to localized_english_aab.iwd
iw_02.iwd to localized_english_aac.iwd
iw_03.iwd to localized_english_aad.iwd
iw_04.iwd to localized_english_aae.iwd
This is a short section, but vital! Please browse through this website's skins. They also have many other game skins there too! https://cfgbro.com/index.php?/category/2-call-of-duty-4/
Once you have your skins downloaded, you need the application "The Unarchiver", which can be downloaded here (It's Free!) http://wakaba.c3.cx/s/apps/unarchiver
Now make a new folder on your desktop called "Images", without the Quotes(").
Drag your .iwi files into the folder. Right click the Folder and Press "Compress"
Now right-click the .zip and click "Get Info"
Where it says "Name and Extension" delete "images.zip" and put "localized_english_aw07.iwd", press enter and say "ok" on the box that pops up. Drag "localized_english_aw07.iwd" into your "Main" folder
