Back in the Call of Duty United Offensive days, he handed eXtreme over to Astoroth, who modified the mod to run on CoD2. The game was released October 10th 2005 and the first eXtreme+ modification was born October 13th 2005. The “+” indicated the beginning of a new exciting era. Astoroth has since “retired” from CoD modding and handed full reigns over to the extreme+ Support Crew. The first version of X4 : eXtreme Warfare was released 2008-01-01.

*Fixed an exploit where a player could never run out of
ammo/grenades during a game
*Fixed the lastman being the second highest scoring player (this may have only
been a bug in beta versions)
*Fixed a potentially abusable glitch with admin spectate
*Fixed zombies being able to use quickmessages with binds
*Fixed lastman suiciding just before he's respawned and causing a few bugs
*Fixed scare/freeze/fart issues where someone, for example, would be scared at
2 and 6 seconds but would be able to plant mines at 9 seconds.

*Added scr_arq for ragequit punishment. Setting to 0 will disable it, setting
to 1 (default) will cause ragequitters to become zombies next game, and setting
to 2 will cause ragequitters to lose 5 ranks next game.
*Added scr_doghp to set the amount of HP dogs drop or disable it. Dogs also
drop mines if it's enabled now.
*Added a loop to ensure there is always a first zombie, and the name always
stays updated in hunter's scoreboards.
*Added a message to show who's mine you're shooting at
*Changed sniper damage - all do extra damage and another extra 100 on headshots
(the latter if scr_strongsniperHS is enabled)
*Changed inactive spectator kicks - they won't be kicked unless the game is in
progress (there are zombies).

How to setup a server:
Make sure g_gametype is set to "football", "war" works as well.
Right now only the map mp_soccer_arena works with the mod, original version can be downloaded All credits go to the creator of this map.
Change timelimit with dvar "soccer_timelimit".
The dvar "soccer_mode" can be changed to "public/match_long/match_medium/match_short".
More config dvars will be available in a later version.
By KevinThe concept of the mod is really simple, it is the same as other props mods in other games. The hiders can disguise as objects, and hide on the map (or they can even use seeker camouflage). The first player connecting to the server will be the seeker, and at the beginning of each further round the last hider of the previous round will be.
So what does this mod offer? A funny game-play, without cheaters and crying kids, where neither your FPS or your ping matters; Here you also have the time to do anything else while hiding, if you are not in the mood for chatting or flustering.
In addition, I'm really interested in players' feedback, so this mod is always being updated. Don't forget to contact me with any bug, idea, or translating application.
But certainly it's not all, here is a short list of the main features:
- You can choose from many models as a hider, which are different on every map to fit the environment!
- Some object can be edited. For example you can select, what items do you want to be placed on the shelf you are hiding with, and certainly their position too.
- You can earn new ranks, items and abilities. For example, from level 40, you can knife the seekers as a hider!
- Rank based player customization, which contains death effect, player model, music, weapon, and weapon painting!
- Many exciting challenges!
- You can resupply with care package.
